Reception Counters

Dixon Timber Products have supplied and fitted reception counters to Hospitals, Medical Centres, Universities, Schools and commercial buildings throughout the UK.

Although all our counters are purpose made for each particular situation, our experience enables us to offer complete design solutions for new projects, or to be able to work in harness with architects, or designers, to convert their concepts to reality.

We are accustomed to dealing with Design considerations such as access (with acknowledgement of the Disability Discrimination Act, and part M of the Building Regulations), Customer service, Operator requirements, Security, Communications and other services.

Alongside materials such as laminates, linoleums, veneers, melamines and hardwoods, we have also used decorative metals, glass, rubber and solid surfacing such as Corian, to create a counter fit for its purpose, that is also aesthetically pleasing.

We can advise on service life expectancy, cleanabiltity (a particular concern in healthcare situations) and budgetary alternatives.
